Bird nests with puff pastry

Products: 500 gr. of puff pastry „BELLA”, 150 gr. of cow cheese, 1 egg, 1 yolk of an egg, 12 quail eggs (2 for each timbale case), 1 tomato, 1 roast pepper, lettuce and parsley for decoration.

Preparation: A filling is made with the cheese, the egg, the tomato and the pepper. Shell the quail eggs. Cut carefully the puff pastry in squares and gently press it to the walls and bottom of each timbale case. Each timbale case is stuffed with the filling, and the projecting ends are coated with the yolk. Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 220 ºС until become red in colour. Then add the quail eggs and decorate with lettuce and parsley.
