Sachi Encourages Young Sports talents

„Barcelona” and „Pelister” of Macedonia will take part in the ”Yulian Manzarov” football tournament

„Many people have money, but don’t have hearts”. That was what the President of the Bulgarian Professional Football League Valentin Mihov said at the start of the international youth football tournament „Yulian Manzarov”. He expressed his special gratitude to the brand “Sachi” about its support to the sports event, by which the young footballers from several countries play in memoriam of Yulian Manzarov, tragically died in the waters of the Lyn river in Serbia.

„Sachi” heartily gives its support for the organization of this tournament. It is in the brand’s philosophy to support the activities of young sports talents,” said the marketing manager Nina Kostova. She said that the assistance of “Sachi” for the tournament helps the name of a deserving Bulgarian to remain in history.

The sixth international youth football tournament, bearing the name of this young man, will be held from 15th to 20th August in the towns of Pravets and Etropole. The competitions will be played under the aegis of Hristo Stoichkov and participants in the games will be CSKA, „Levski”, „Litex”, „Slavia”, the Spanish team „Barcelona”, „Pelister” of Bitolja, Macedonia, and football academy „Hristo Stoichkov”. The will be separated in two groups of four teams through lot casting, and the leader of Group „А” is “Barcelona” and of Group “B” - last year’s winner of the tournament „Levski”. The cup and medals of the winner will be bestowed by the President of the English Premier League and of the European Professional Football League (EPFL) Sir David Richards.

Yulian was a player of FC “Academic” Svishtov. At the end of 2003 he was named the most perspective player of the team to 18 years of age. The young man died after saving the lives of several of the children in the sinking bus.
