Meatprocessing plant Idea ,Plovdiv
The new plant "Idea Bulgaria” is the fifth meatprocessing plant opened in October 2007. By its establishment BELLA Bulgaria SA holding opened more than 350 new jobs.
The investments come to more than 18 million BGN. The plant has the capacity to produce 40 tons dry salami, sausages and fresh salami. The production of the famous sausage „Balkan Grill" LEKI started here.
The plant has been constructed in the quarter of Proslav of the city of Plovdiv, over a plot with a total area of 5 800 square meters. The spread out built-up area comes to 4 490 square meters, of which the production area is 3 588 square meters, including workshops, warehouses and refrigeration premises. Additionally, the drying rooms take 792 square meters, and the administration building - 110 square meters. The main production building comprises two sections: First section – production area on one floor and the second section – a part of the production, administration and living area. Two truck accesses have been provided / entrance and exit respectively and also an entrance for the staff and administration.
The main part of the technological equipment of the plant is of the brand of the world-famous manufacturer "Novitski" - Poland.
ISO 22000 has been implemented in “Idea Bulgaria”, certification expected till the end of the year. The plant passed successfully the inspection in three stages for getting the approval for free movement of goods in the member countries of the EUROPEAN UNION. This fact enables the products manufactured in the plant to have a free access to the markets of the EU.
