The Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev opened the latest factory of BELLA Food Industry– “Idea BULGARIA”. The official opening ceremony took place on October, 10th 2007. The Prime Minister was met by the Executive Director Mrs. Elza Markova, the top management of the company and hundreds of workers in the new factory.

”Idea BULGARIA” is the 5th meat processing factory of the holding. With its latest investment BELLA BULGARIA opened over 350 work positions. The capital invested amounts at more than 18 million leva. The factory has a production capacity of 40 tones of larded salami, sausages and non-durable sausages. The “BALKAN GRILL LEKI” sausages production started here!!!

Only through good interrelation of the business with the state and the local structures can we manage to deal successfully with the competitive environment of United Europe. We do believe that the factory we open today will stand as the next in succession good model in this direction – Mrs. Elza Markova shared in her speech before the Prime Minister.

Standard ISO 22000 is implemented in “Idea BULGARIA” and certification is expected by the end of the year. The factory has already successfully passed the three-stage approval check for free movement of the goods in the country-members of the EU. This allows the factory production to gain free access to the EU market.

During a tour across the workshops the guests were acquainted with the technological equipment of the factory – the main part of which is under the brand of the world well-known manufacturer «Novitski»-Polsha. A great interest was shown to the drying chambers “Travaligni” Italy. “I frequently watch your TV food advertisements and I consider them rather appetizing. It goes without saying that I like the taste of your products, too, I think they are very good!” – Mr. Sergey Stanishev expressed his opinion upon examining with interest the modern equipped workshops. He also tasted from the ready production of the factory.
