Bella Bulgaria Honoured with the Socially Responsible Partner Award by KRIB and the Municipality of Svilengrad

Bella Bulgaria has won the Impact on the Local Economy Award at the annual Socially Responsible Partner Aawards organized by the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB) and the Municipality of Svilengrad.
At an official ceremony held in Haskovo, companies from the region were recognized for their contribution to the local economy, corporate social responsibility, partnerships with municipalities, and investment initiatives.
The award was presented to Armen Grigorian, Production Manager at Bella Bulgaria's Svilengrad plant, by Stoyan Stavrev, Member of the Management Board of KRIB.

Bella Bulgaria is among the region's leading businesses and one of the preferred employers in the region of Haskovo. The company's newest pastry production plant is located in Svilengrad. The plant is certified according to IFS Food Standard Version 8, the latest version of the internationally recognized food safety standard designed to promote continuous improvement across the food industry. By implementing Version 8, Bella Bulgaria has adopted a new internationally recognized benchmark that supports the development of a dynamic food safety culture.
A year ago, the factory underwent a technological upgrade with the installation of four fully automated production lines for filled pastry products, two new Frigoscandia spiral blast freezers with a capacity of one tonne per hour each, and a PATYN automatic case-packing machine. These investments increased the facility's annual production capacity by 12,000 tonnes.
Bella Bulgaria's pastry products, marketed under both the company's own brands and private labels, are available across all key European markets through the company's direct partnerships with leading retailers, including Mercadona (Spain), the Schwarz Group—Lidl (Germany) and Kaufland International (Poland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and Germany), as well as ALDI Süd, ALDI Nord, REWE, and Tesco (Central Europe).
Bella Bulgaria will continue to invest in the implementation of the latest manufacturing technologies while further advancing its corporate social responsibility strategy, built on the principles of sustainable development, partnership, and active engagement with local communities.
